Brian Thomas is a naval architect and salvage engineer with 15 years of experience serving all segments of the marine industry for the United States Coast Guard. Before founding Thomas Naval Architecture, Brian led the Coast Guard's Salvage Engineering Response Team, guiding Coast Guard decision makers responding to marine casualties.
Brian earned his undergraduate degree in Naval Architecture from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and master's degrees in Naval Architecture and Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Brian is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in the states of New York and Virginia.
